Maxi Me

I have never really been the biggest fan of Maxi Skirts but I can see myself wearing more and more of these!! This high waisted, floral, tail hem maxi is from The 031 Collection. I love that the front of the skirt is short enough to give a peek of your shoes. The skirt was very busy so I tried to keep everything else very minimalistic. Besides for a pair of pearl earrings, I wore no other accessories. I must admit, my hands were feeling very, very light without anything hanging on it!

Floral Palazzo Pants

I am in love with these Palazzo Pants of mine. They are amazingly comfortable and so perfect for the hot days we've been having here in Durban!! I have been wearing them so often, I think I need to get a few more pairs!!

The Weekend in Pictures

Monday again!! The weekend, as usual, flew by. I had quite a chilled weekend, watched lots of TV (I've been catching up on Gossip Girl!!) and ate lots of chocolate, dessert, cake and all things full of fat!!

True Blue

I know some of these pictures look very posed!! That was not the intention! I was trying to hold my hair/dress down from blowing away in the wind!

I love this tail hem dress. (Tail hem, is the correct word for dresses or skirts which are cut longer at the back) 

The colour is beautiful and can be matched with nearly anything.

It is sooo comfortable and falls perfectly.

It is very plain on its own so a waist belt and accessories seemed a must.

The Weekend in Pictures

I was in Johannesburg for the second weekend in a row. I could get use to this :)) I was up for the St Yves Music Festival featuring David Guetta and Akon..not something I could have missed!

As usual, I was dressed and ready to leave looooong before my sisters. I took these pictures of them getting ready and love how they look. Notice how we all look coordinated - that was not intentional!!

These concert pictures are terrible, I know. I didn't take my camera with me so I had to rely on my phone :(

These are very unclear but they are all I have!

David Guetta was on first and was brilliant! He knew just what to say and do to get the crowd excited.

He played all our favourites and seemed to be having as much fun as everyone else at Wild Waters.

Akon, although only on for a very short time was such a crowd pleaser. He got into the crowd!!! YES, REALLY!! Everyone (well, the girls and maybe a few guys) went insane! It didn't end there, he took his jacket and shirt off and threw it into the crowd! Sadly, I wasn't close enough but had I been at the front..it would have been over :)

Glitter Booties

How gorgeous are these Glitter Booties? They are such a fun, glitzy addition to any outfit! These shoes definitely give meaning to the phrase

'Party at the bottom'

 These are by Miu Miu, absolutely love the shaped heel and the colours. The coral/gold combination is my favourite!

At $890, I think I may hold off for a bit before getting these...
